Magdalena Bay, music videos under threat, and how the music industry started making money again

“Here’s another pair of songs that complement each other. Different than the last, different than the next," says Magdalena Bay — the project of duo Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin. "Human Happens" and "Paint Me A Picture" follow earlier singles "Second Sleep" and "Star Eyes" released in September, the first previews of new music since Magdalena Bay's 2024 album Imaginal Disk. They teased the singles prior to the release by inviting fans to share their dreams in a digital dream journal on their website. -LoBF
