Snocaps, Acrisure Arena, girlbands, and what questions remain about the UMG-Udio deal

Katie Crutchfield, the creative force behind Waxahatchee, and her twin sister, Allison Crutchfield, have surprised released their self-titled debut album as Snocaps via ANTI- Records. It marks the first music the sisters have released together since their legendary P.S. Eliot days. Joining the Crutchfields on the new project are MJ Lenderman and Brad Cook.
“Snocaps was born out of the twin sisters’ desire to work on music together as they had in their teens and twenties,” according to a press release, which describes the album as “an indie-rock record that recalls Allison’s band Swearin’ and Katie’s early records as Waxahatchee.” The album was produced and almost entirely engineered by Cook, and all four musicians play multiple instruments across the record.-Consequence of Sound
