Tasha, Cody Verdecias launches Deep Love Recordings, and how hybrid formats are reshaping the album experience

Tasha announced a new album, You Are Spring!, due out June 26 via Bayonet, and shared the two singles.
About “Clarion,” she says, “While making the long drive between New York and Chicago (which I did 3 times in the span of 2 months in 2024) I repeatedly took note of a sign for the Pennsylvania town of Clarion and each time thought to myself, ‘That would make a great name for a song.’ So I decided to make a song with that name. A song about coming and going, about wanting to change your life but not quite knowing how you’re going to do it, but feeling suddenly on the edge of figuring it out. The goodness is coming, it’s around the corner, you can feel it!” Her other new track, “Spring,” features vocals from L’Rain and Jamila Woods. -Brooklyn Vegan
