Zoon, TourFlip, ROSTR x A2IM, and the cash-grab remix album

Zoon has shared new single “I Was Younger.” The track is described as one that “reflects on the dissolution of love.” “I wanted heartbreak to feel soft around the edges,” notes Zoon.
Zoon’s forthcoming album, Happy Thought School drops on June 19, 2026 via Paper Bag Records. The album interrogates identity formation within unsettling hostility. The title-track layers intergenerational recordings of their mother and aunt, who attended the same school decades earlier and were not even allowed off the bus. Despite its optimistic name Zoon endured racism as one of the only Native students at the school. Pop radio became refuge via early-2000s Top 20 hits blasting through headphones while they stood alone in a field. That contradiction: joyful surface, painful sublayer defines the record’s architecture. -Northern Transmissions
