The Recording Academy has announced dates for the GRAMMY Awards and nominations announcement - February 2nd and November 8th, respectively. 

In curating their list of 100 best albums, Apple Music enlisted a team of music experts and artists like Pharrell, J Balvin, and Nia Archives. Contributors were asked to submit their favorite albums with Apple Music including these selections on an online voting page to determine the final list. 

Following in the footsteps of artists like Ice Spice and LL Cool J, Vampire Weekend is the latest artist to team up with the MTA on a limited edition run of MetroCards. The 60,000 cards feature a black and white photo of the band shot by Steven Siegel and are available at 14 St-Union Square ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​and Grand Central-42 St ​​​​​station.

In a new lawsuit, Sony Music has accused Marriott of copyright infringement in social media posts. The complaint identified 931 instances of infringement including works by Beyoncé, Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus, and more.
