Complete with tools to track trends on its streaming service and global radio plays, Apple Music has announced a new premium data analytics toolkit for its label/distro partners. This new toolkit will offer “an advanced analytics dashboard, as well as a “Premier Support” service that gives labels and distributors access to a dedicated Apple Music support team for tasks like setting up music APIs, updating an artist’s Apple Music profile, or uploading content.”

Earlier this week, about 30 University of Michigan students and community members gathered to perform ‘Music from Auschwitz,’ “a collection of 10 musical pieces composed by Polish political prisoners from the Auschwitz I men’s orchestra. None of the pieces have been performed for an audience since they were played in the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp between 1940 and 1945.”

Powered by a recent partnership with Equals Money, the recently-launched financial platform Chorus TM “offers entertainment execs fast and secure UK/international payments, real-time spending reporting, streamlined reconciliation processes, and FX management strategies.”

Atlantic Records has announced a new joint venture in Pure Tone Records, headed up by Pete Ganbarg. While Ganbarg will be stepping down from his role as president of A&R at Atlantic, he’ll still continue to A&R select Atlantic artists like Twenty One Pilots, Gayle, and Halestorm.
