Sunglass brand Ray-Ban has tapped Lenny Kravitz as the brand’s first ever global brand ambassador. As part of this partnership, they collaborated on a capsule collection featuring an update on the brand’s Reverse line, which has a “concave design and lenses that aim to reduce reflections.

Long before celebrities like Jay-Z and George Clooney started their own liquor ventures, Sammy Hagar started what would eventually become a multimillion-dollar beverage line in Cabo Wabo. “When I was in Van Halen, I used to get so much shit from the guys: ‘Man you’re always trying to start some kind of business, why don’t you just focus on the music?’ But the important thing for me is that I don’t endorse anything. Endorsements are still cheesy as fuck, I don’t care what anyone says. So I was careful not to endorse: instead, I started companies.”

Music distribution platform Stem has announced a new partnership with Amped, an independent physical distro company. The collaboration “will give Stem the ability to offer production services for physical products such as vinyl LPs, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, and Blu-rays to artists and labels on Stem’s roster.

Several U.S. Senators have introduced a new bill called the American Music tourism Act of 2024, an amendment to the Visit America Act of 2022. This new bill requires “the assistant secretary to identify locations and events in the United States that are important to music tourism and promote domestic travel and tourism to those sites and events.”
