Y U QT, Bandcamp adds three new radio shows, streaming bots, and younger fans want more than a t-shirt

Production pairing Y U QT have signed to Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint. The duo – lifelong friends Darryl Reid and James Cooper – rose up through London’s DIY communities, hosting their own Airspace parties at re-purposed venues across the city.
New single ‘Call My Name’ is out now – a radiant club booster, the pair noticed it became their most ID’d track during their DJ sets. The vocals come from London-born singer-songwriter Jem Cooke, who adds a soulful flourish to the electronic effervescence. -Clash
