Flatland Cavalry, Spain’s live music sector, and how the director of BTS: The Return captured a band in transition

The Work of Heart experience is one of coming across really sonically enjoyable songs with immediate, wide, and lasting appeal, while also delivering the kind of heartfelt songwriting you’ve come to expect from Flatland Cavalry. Singer, primary songwriter, and frontman Cleto Cordero has never presented well as the troubled poet or the highlonesome cowboy. He’s too well-adjusted for all that. But he does have a way with words, and matching those words with strong melodies. -Saving Country Music

CORRIDOR FOR DEAD OCEANS
Named after a Bob Dylan lyric, Dead Oceans was founded in 2007 with an intention of redefining what an independent record label can be and being a driving force in the evolution of indie music. After 18 years, the label updated their visual identity, however their original mission remains the same.
For the capsule, we wanted to incorporate the depth and motion of ocean waves into the designs. The 6-panel cap is embroidered with our signature space dyed yarn and the 6 oz ringspun cotton t-shirt features a 4 screen graphic print.
To celebrate the release, the first 10 people to buy an item from the capsule at Corridor’s Nolita store will receive a vinyl record from the Dead Oceans catalog.
Kevin Morby’s 8th album Little Wide Open comes out May 15 on Dead Oceans.
