Chinese-Canadian singer-songwriter PIAO has returned with her highly anticipated new single "if i am me, then who are you?," which marks her first release through BMG and serves as a teaser for her newest project, which is set to arrive later this year.
"'if i am me, then who are you?' captures the tension between who I feel like versus who I appear to be," the artist shared in a release. "Standing face to face with someone who is ultimately myself. Looking at a mirror but not recognizing yourself... not because you look different, but because they seem stronger than you feel. Times where I question how one can feel so divided while ultimately being singular." -Exclaim!
