Devonté Hynes, EA Advertising, FM radio, and major changes announced for the Grammy Awards

A24 Music has announced the upcoming release of Devonté Hynes’s original score for The Invite, directed by Olivia Wilde. The score, preceded this week by the single “Contentious Environment,” is due out on June 26. The film—an English-language remake of Spanish film The People Upstairs that stars Seth Rogen, Edward Norton, and Penélope Cruz—will appear in theaters nationwide on July 10.
The soundtrack album will be Hynes’ sixth film score, following Paul Schrader’s Master Gardener (2022), Rebecca Hall’s Passing (2021), two collaborations with Gia Coppola for Palo Alto (2013) and Mainstream (2020), and 2019’s Queen & Slim, directed by Melina Matsoukas. -Paste
