Opening with a triumphant, sparkling crash, “Dogs in Heaven” is the debut single from Silver Gore, the duo made up of renowned songwriter Ethan P. Flynn and regular collaborator Ava Gore, who have been signed by Island Records. Blending twee folk sonics with dark imagery and the faint sound of howling dogs, the song focusses on the loss of innocence, inspired by Ava’s childhood viewings of the tragic animated kids film All Dogs Go to Heaven. Reflecting on the track, Ava says, ​“This song is about making decisions and the unexpected consequences that come from them.” - The Face
