PawPaw Rod, 'Say No To Suna', and the resurgence of Hip-Hop in 2026

Last month, PawPaw Rod released the dreamy, funk-infused single "The Get Back." Today, he shares another new song called "I Wish" and announces his debut album Picture Day. It was produced by Jeff Hazen, Nick Faraaro, and Nick Sylvester. The song has a bopping bass and speedy synths. Rod contemplates life unease: "I wish I could just snap my fingers I wish I could just make everything okay." -Stereogum
