Water From Your Eyes, UK underground rap, year-end charts, and Riot Games’ music business rise

Water From Your Eyes are capping off their year of new music with a few more songs. [Last week, they shared] It’s Beautiful, a new EP that reimagines three tracks from their album It’s a Beautiful Place.
On It’s Beautiful, guitarist and producer Nate Amos rethinks the arrangements in “Born 2,” “Nights in Armor,” and “Playing Classics” to emphasize singer Rachel Brown’s vocals differently than on their original studio versions. “The new versions of ‘Born 2’ and ‘Nights in Armor’ are actually just closer to how the songs existed in their original form,” explained Amos. “People were asking me about the original 10+ minute version of playing classics and I can’t find it anymore, so I made a new one. Thought it would be funny if it was faster, too. I added car sound effects because cars are fast.” -Pitchfork
