It’s stripped-back fuzz is intentional, oozing with the same rawness as its lyricism.
“’Shuteye’ is a song that compares unrequited love with having a dream that you wish was real,” Presley shared in a press release. ” I made it with my executive co-producer Luka Kloser in L.A. When we made it we wanted to purposely not overthink it and keep it minimal so that it felt raw.
