Dodie has shared a new music video for her latest single ‘I Feel Bad For You, Dave’, which features a cameo from Jeff Goldblum. The collaboration with the Jurassic Park icon follows on from Dodie joining him on stage in the UK on two different occasions this year.
The new track sees the singer lean into bossa nova influences, and calls out the toxic aspects of social media. As Dodie says herself, the song is a tongue-in-cheek track that takes a look at the narcissism displayed by some people. “[It’s] a song about the ego of people who feel as though they lack power, so try to gain it in ways that ironically have the opposite effect. We all know a Dave,” she said. - NME
