On October 16, Estonian dream pop outfit Holy Motors will release their new album Heaven’s Night via Wharf Cat. Today, they’ve released a new video for the single “Hellishly Hot,” shot by Agathe Peri and Jakob Tulve, edited by Holy Motors vocalist Eliann Tulve, and featuring graphics by Kadri-Ann Kivisild. The clip depicts the band hanging out on railroad tracks and in sports cars, like on-the-road footage of a band with no particular place to go. The song, itself, is gorgeously melancholy and rife with twangy, surfy guitar riffs. It’s one of the band’s most intoxicating songs to date, its vibe something like Fleetwood Mac gone goth, or Cocteau Twins after a Duane Eddy binge. -Treble
