After raising its subscription price for the first time in a decade last year, Spotify will reportedly institute additional price hikes and introduce a new subscription tier. Solo subscription prices are expected to rise by $1/mo ($2/mo for Duo) in several international markets by the end of April with the US to follow later this year. A new “Basic” tier is also expected to launch for $11/mo, giving users access to music and podcasts, but no audiobacks. 

Private equity firm Silver Lake has agreed to acquire Endeavor Group, a global sports and entertainment agency. The deal is reportedly valued around $13 and will see Silver Lake take WME private.
