Following Concord’s reported $1.4 billion bid, it’s now sounding like Blackstone has put their hat in the ring for Hipgnosis with a $1.5 billion offer. While it had looked like Concord’s proposal was a done deal, it still required approval by a majority of Hipgnosis Song Fund’s shareholders- leaving the door open for Blackstone.

For her new album, TikTok has announced an in-app experience for Taylor Swift’s fans to “dive into the album with playlists to create with” and challenges to unlock exclusive artwork for their TT profile. This in-app experience utilizes TikTok’s ‘Add to Music App’ feature, which allows users to save songs they discover on the app on their preferred streaming service. 

After a fatal crowd crush saw the venue close for 16 months, London’s Brixton Academy re-opened Friday night. It was announced in December 2023 that the venue could reopen provided it met a robust list of 77 safety measures.
