Organizers of F1’s Miami Grand Prix are hoping that infusing music into the event will help turn it into appointment viewing a la the Masters or Kentucky Derby. The race’s managing partner Tom Garfinkel noted, “[we’re] intentionally infusing the entertainment lineup with regional music, including Latin heritage and nightclub-like electronic beats.” This past weekend’s musical lineup included Kaytranada, Ed Sheeran, Kaskade, Marc Anthony, and Steve Aooki.
