Releasing a new version of her latest album with isolated vocals, Billie Eilish is inviting fans to remix “Hit Me Hard And Soft” using BandLab. 

Music Venue Trust has announced a campaign calling upon acts to give back and support grassroots venues once they’ve reached arena levels. Dubbed ‘The Artist Pledge’, the campaign has amassed over 45 signatures from artists like Frank Turner, The K’s and Enter Shikari. 

With just over three months until the 2024 edition of the festival, Reading & Leeds has announced the addition of a new stage: The Aux. The stage “is designed with the aim of showcasing “pioneering digital creators” and will allow festival-goers to attend live podcasts, interactive talks and livestreams, as well as tune into the current media landscape.” 

In collaboration with Billie Eilish, TikTok has rolled out a new feature: Fan Spotlight. Artists who utilize this feature “can choose to showcase up to five of their favorite fan videos at a time by ‘pinning’ them to the top of their music tab.” 

In celebration of their True Music project’s 10th anniversary, Scotch whisky brand Ballantine’s teamed up with Boiler Room to throw a party in Johannesburg featuring cutting-edge djs from all over the world. Designed to support cutting-edge local music scenes, True Music’s Joburg event celebrated contemporary club music, with a focus on amapiano- “a subgenre of kwaito and house music that emerged in South Africa in the mid-2010s.”
