For the second time in about a year, Spotify will be raising their premium subscription prices. Beginning in July, premium subscription prices for individual users will increase by $1 to $11.99/month. Similarly, monthly prices for Duo subscriptions will increase by $2 to $16.99/month and Family plans by $3 to $19.99/month.

After outlining a 12-point plan to cut their carbon footprint from touring by 50% three years ago, Coldplay has announced that they’ve surpassed their eco goals. By cutting back on air travel and utilizing concepts like a dance floor that generates electricity when fans jump on it, the band saw a 59% reduction in CO2 emissions from their previous world tour. Their pledge to grow a tree for every fan attending a show has also lead to the planting of over seven million saplings.

Heading into her performance at Glastonbury later this month, Nia Archives has announced that she’ll be performing on the train taking her there. Via a partnership with Uber, a carriage on the train will be converted into a music venue complete with a custom festival lighting rig and full sound system.
