Looking to provide an alternative to marketing methods that often amount to streaming fraud, Audiomack is launching a new feature allowing artists to promote their music directly to targeted audiences, for a price. Dubbed ‘Sponsored Songs,’ this feature “combines targeted advertising with the platform’s recommendation algorithm. Artists can specify their ideal audience by location and genre, and the algorithm places their songs strategically within those listeners’ queues.”

Small events platform Posh has boosted their valuation to $31 million after a recent $22 million funding round. The platform, which operates on a commission model, allows users to discover events through a vertical scroll format reminiscent of TikTok. With over 2 million users on the platform, Posh is looking to create a sense of community with new features allowing users to import their contacts to see who else is on the platform.
